LESSON 132: REALCE OF SCAMA

Tutorial for scale enhancement stitch:

Used in open fillers con un efecto de fish scale. Las escamas más grandes pueden ser realzadas con más puntos. Son pequeñas ondas, sujetas con otro punto que aquí, yo he hecho con otro hilo diferente para que se vea bien cómo realizarlo.

Se puede usar en bordados conde tengas que hacer escamas de un pez por ejemplo, o simplemente como cenefas para adornar un cuadro. También en towels, kitchen rags, curtains, or wherever you can think of it.

Es tan fácil de realizar que lo aconsejamos para dummies.

1- Empieza en la parte superior izquierda.

2- Lleva el hilo extendido arriba a la izquierda.

3- Sube el hilo de sujeción en 1 y baja en 2. Mantén el hilo extendido en una pequeña curva y haz dos puntos más de sujeción, de 3 a 4 y de 5 a 6.

4- Repite a la derecha.

5- En el borde, lleva el hilo tendido al reverso y después al frente para empezar la próxima línea o girado en curva en la superficie.

6- Trabaja la siguiente línea de derecha a izquierda, alternando con las escamas de arriba. Secure the threads underneath.

Materials

• You need a sharp pointed needle. In your trusted haberdashery they can advise you on this.
• Thimble, we know that it is not easy to get used to it, but the earlier you adapt, the better, you will avoid many punctures.
