28 de July de 2022Tutorial for Hemp Stitch: Half cross stitch in horizontal rows:
Here’s the Tutorial for horizontal windrows on canvasanother proposal of fantasy stitch that we propose you in Bordarycantar.com.
What is it used for?
It is used for the same purpose as the half stitch; it is more economical and less resistant with yarn. It should not be combined with the half stitch in the same work, as it produces an uneven appearance. It is normally used in double-threaded canvas.
How do you do that?
Work from left to right:
Fig. A: Pull the needle out on 1, purl on 2, pull it out on 3 and purl on 4. Repeat to the right. At the end of the row, turn the canvas over and knit the next row from left to right.
Si quieres hacer algún dibujo o filigrana de otro color, piensa en dejar los huecos libres para hacer tu dibujo.
Repeat this point as many times as necessary.
