How do you do that?

Start at the top right:

Fig. A: Pull the needle out at 1, slip it into 2 and knit six more stitches: from 5 to 6, from 7 to 8, from 9 to 10, from 11 to 12 and from 13 to 14. These seven stitches form a triangle.

Fig. B: Rotate the canvas 90 degrees and use point 13 as point 1 of the next triangle. Repeat twice more, making a square of four triangles. Repeat the squares as appropriate. In the corners of each square, work a cross stitch in the same or another colour over two intersections in each direction.

• Canvas fabric
• Thimble, we know that it is not easy to get used to it, but the earlier you adapt, the better, you will avoid many punctures.
