El punto de cadeneta, es un punto de costura para el bordado de telas que se trabaja sobre un patrón lineal previamente dibujado en la tela. Consiste en una especie de anillas consecutivas. Se emplea en multitud de telas: toallas, manteles, cortinas, prendas de vestir, etc. Junto al punto yugoslavo, que explicaremos más adelante aquí mismo, es una de las primeras lecciones que reciben los aprendices del noble arte del bordado.. Increíblemente versátil, Puedes ornamentar cualquier cosa que se te ocurra con este curioso punto. Cadeneta cruzada con la anterior enlazando una con otra.
