Francisco Pradilla

If you like historical painting you will like Francisco Pradilla's cross stitch schemes of paintings. The painter, born in 1848 and died in 1921, is one of the greatest exponents of this trend. They are paintings based on historical events, such as "Juana la Loca" or "The surrender of Granada." This last large work recreates the delivery of the keys to the city of Granada by the Muslim King Boabdil to the Catholic Monarchs. Francisco Pradilla's checkered cross stitch schemes have a romantic aura and are full of detail.
