JOAQUÍN SOROLLA'S BOWLING

BOWLING BY JOAQUÍN SOROLLA CROSS STITCH PATTERNS

We have designed these patterns for cross stitch of Bowling of the painter Joaquin Sorolla.

The Guipúzcoa panel is one more example of how Sorolla combined originally independent motifs in an emblematic image. It was painted in 1914 in San Sebastián, partly on the basis of studies made in 1912. The landscape comes from paintings that Sorolla had painted on the estate of a famous Basque doctor, Doctor Medinaveitia, overlooking Mount Igueldo and the port of San Sebastián from above the Miramar Palace; while the figure and the cart come from numerous sketches, gouaches and oil paintings of agricultural scenes, some apparently made on Mount Ulia, on the other side of the bay.

In both cases, it includes the colour cover, the patterns themselves and the approximate count of the skeins you will need to sew it. If what you want is a paper cross stitch scheme, you will have to leave all your data and we will send it to the address you indicate. We will send the physical shipments of cross stitch patterns through the mail and it may take a few days to arrive. They are certified and with notice of receipt. We also have the option of cash on delivery, which means that you will only pay for shipping when you receive the package.
