Here is my first work with my sewing machine that I made for my friend Eva. I didn't have a clue, but that's what I did and this is what I ended up with. It's a good idea to give as a present or for yourselves: a roll-shaped case made with the technique of the patchwork. A good idea to recycle your clothes.

This case is specially designed for brushes, or even make-up paints. With this design, the hairs of the brushes are completely covered without fear of damaging them. The design is very easy, because it is made with rectangles and you can add pieces of fabric you have at home. The centre is made of plush so that the sensitive material such as sable hair, which many brushes are made of, doesn't suffer at all. We are sure you will like them. The special thing about it is that to store it, you can make a roll that you can tie with the ribbons, that's why it's so practical.

Instructions for making the case in the form of a recycled fabric roll:

• First, choose the pieces of your clothes that you like best for your case.
• I chose a fabric with dragonflies on one of the sides, which I thought was spectacular and which will be the side you will see when you roll up the case.
• I sewed a blue ribbon on one end. So that when we roll up the case we can make a loop in it.

We continue with the other side of the case:

• Here I first joined two different pieces of clothing together, and then I sewed the separations for brushes and other tools in different widths to the pocket with the sewing machine.
• Instead of using interlining to give it more body, I used plush. This way, the brushes don't get damaged and if they keep some moisture, it will dry out. As it's fabric, it's washable. So if it gets dirty, don't worry, you can wash it.
